Rates and FAQs
What is your Individual Therapy rate?
My full rate is $200 per 50 minute session.
My sliding scale rate is $150 - $175 per 50 minute session.
In order to ensure that I am able to offer quality clinical services in an accessible and sustainable manner, I strive to maintain a 50/50 balance of full rate to sliding scale.
Additionally, my Associates offer full rates ranging from $100-$150 per session as well as their own sliding scale rates.
Do you offer Couples or Family Therapy?
No, but I am happy to provide referrals.
When appropriate, I do often integrate family members into session, such as for parent education.
Do you accept insurance?
I do not accept insurance to ensure that I can offer services without the limitations of insurance coverage, such as diagnostic requirements or number of session limitations.
Although I am not able to bill your insurance directly, I am experienced and happy to provide statements for insurance reimbursement (aka "super bills"). I recommend contacting your insurance provider and inquiring about your "out-of-network mental health" coverage to know your options.
What is your Letter of Support rate?
I offer Gender Affirming Care Letters of Support on a sliding scale basis ($20 - $200) with committed pro bono ($0) slots.
I require a phone or video consultation before we schedule our assessment to ensure that I can provide an effective assessment and the best match for you and your needs.
If we are not the best match for whatever reason, I have a vast network of colleagues that I can refer you to.
What are your Gender Specialty Consultation and Training rates?
My on-going consultation and training rates are shaped by budget and services rendered.
I require a phone or video consultation in order to learn more about you and/or your organization's needs to provide an estimated quote.
Please view my Consultation/Training page to learn more.
What is unique about your Gender Specialty Consultation and Training services?
I tailor my services to your organization's unique needs and circumstances.
Starting with an initial assessment, I build upon research literature, clinical wisdom and lived experience to provide service recommendations to meet your organization's goals. I integrate social justice values and practice because I believe that it is my responsibility as a consultant/trainer to not only highlight health disparities and social injustices, but offer creative, practical solutions.
