A holistic framework to conceptualize gender dysphoria symptoms that incorporates culture, language and spirituality.
A comprehensive review of all Gender-Affirming Surgeries.
Case Vignettes to explore common clinical issues that arise including transference, countertransference, ethics and informed consent.
This training is ideal for providers and organizations that are ready to expand their clinical services to support individuals struggling with Gender Dysphoria and seeking gender-affirming surgeries.
Gender-Affirming Care Assessment, Letter Writing and Clinical Considerations
1 session, 2 hours
This training will provide:
A holistic framework to conceptualize gender dysphoria symptoms among adults that incorporates culture, language and spirituality.
An overview of the mental health professional's role in Gender Affirming Care in the United States.
Best Practices for Gender-Affirming Surgery letter writing and assessment.
Clinical Considerations including severe depression, suicidality, disordered eating, substance use and more.
This advanced training is ideal for licensed providers and organizations that are ready to deepen their knowledge and clinical practice of treating Gender Dysphoria.
Due to the advanced subject matter, it is highly recommended that providers have at least 1 year of experience working directly and on-going with individuals struggling with gender dysphoria symptoms.
Working with Trans Youth and Families
1 session, 2 hours
This training will provide:
An overview of gender identity development.
A holistic framework to conceptualize, evaluate and treat gender dysphoria symptoms among children, adolescents and teenagers.
Best practices working with trans youth and their families.
Case Vignettes to explore common clinical issues that arise including working with hesitant or unsupportive parents, self harm and informed consent.
This training is ideal for providers and organizations that are ready to expand and improve their clinical services to support trans youth and their families.
